Do I have to pay a deposit?If you want to pay for the installation outright, we ask for a deposit of 50% before the install date and then the rest on completion of the job.

Is the price fixed and what does it include?Yes the price is fixed (in accordance with our T&Cs). The price includes the boiler and all other materials needed as well as installation, if any extra work is needed then this will be discussed with you and agreed first.

What area does Virgo Heating cover?We cover all of Essex & Hertfordshire as well as North & East London and some surrounding areas, feel free to get in contact to see if we work in your area.

Is there any guarantee on the work carried out by Virgo Heating?At Virgo Heating we give all our customers a minimum 1 year workmanship guarantee and 2 years for customers who sign up to our service/cover plans within 3 months of installation.

Can Virgo Heating install/change my radiators?Yes, we can give you a fixed price to change, move or install new radiators in your property, all we need is a few questions answered.

How do I book my annual boiler service?If your boiler is due for its annual service you can either book online or give us a call in advance or wait to hear from us, we will get in touch with you once your service is due to book in with our experienced service engineers.

What time will you start the installation?On the day of installation our engineers will attend first thing in the morning usually between 8-9am unless specified otherwise.

How many engineers will attend the job?There will usually be 1 engineer although bigger or more difficult jobs can require 2 or more engineers. A standard boiler install will take a full day but larger jobs can take a minimum of 2 days depending on what is required.

The boiler installation is complete, what happens next?On completion the engineer should introduce you to your new boiler install and give you a detailed briefing of how it works and what changes have been made to your heating system. Before the engineer leaves you should be shown that your heating and hot water works, so this is your time to access the work and make sure you are happy and understand everything and then you will be asked to sign a completed works notice. When the engineer is finished they will leave behind a Virgo Heating care package which will have any information regarding the boiler including servicing plans that we offer.

What brands of boilers does Virgo Heating install?We fit a range of boilers to suit your budget. Here is a selection of manufacturers we like to use.

Do I need to activate my warranty & what does the Warranty Cover?Virgo Heating will do this for you. If you register it yourself you may not benefit from the extended warranties we may be able to offer. The warranty is covered by the manufacturer and will cover parts and labour to get your boiler up and running again. This is providing the boiler has been serviced annually. Please consult manufacturers' terms and conditions.

My boiler's been installed, who can service my boiler?Virgo Heating are happy to carry out your annual boiler service but you can use any Gas Safe registered engineer, we can still send you a reminder should you want to use us.

Who do I contact if I have a problem?We’re here to help you out whatever you need, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Our office hours are 8am-6pm Monday-Friday, Saturday 10am-3pm. If you smell Gas call 0800 111 999 immediately and they will advise you.
